Productivity Engineering - GmbH for process integration - based in Herrenberg has founded a subsidery company in Dresden (Germany). Productivity Engineering IC Design will focus and strengthen the digital- and mixed signal ASIC design activities of PE right in the middle of "Silicon-Saxony", the microelectronics high tech center in Europe. Surrounded by the necessary infrastructure of universities and research institutes as well as industrial partners, this location provides ideal prerequisites to support customer requirements and growth. About 10 IC design engineers will develop first class state-of-the-art ASICs on powerful PC plattforms empowered by design tools from Mentor Graphics and Tanner within the next 3 years.
